One of the biggest challenge is to be productive, I already shared simple tips on how to be more productive. Now, I want to share a bit more about the 3 month plan, it is a productivity technique that involves defining and breaking long-term goals into smaller and achievable tasks. Here we have to create a plan that covers a three-month period, during which you can focus on achieving your goals and making progress towards your long-term objectives.

How to create a 3 month plan

To create a 3 month plan, you can start by setting long-term goals for yourself, or you can even link with the OKR goals set for your team. These could be any types of goals, professional, or personal goals. Once you have your goals in mind, you can start breaking them down into smaller, achievable tasks that you can work on over the next three months.

For example, if your goal is to lose weight for the next year, your plan might include tasks like creating a healthy meal plan (I know this one might be challenging), joining a gym, and tracking your progress. Or, if your goal is to start a new business, your plan might include tasks like researching the market, developing a business plan, and finding investors.

A few steps you can follow to define your plan:

Identify your long-term goal: Like, start a new business.

Break your goal down into smaller achievable tasks: We can break by researching the market, developing a business plan, and finding investors.

Create a roadmap: As soon as you defined the list of tasks, you can create a roadmap that outlines when you will work on each task, and this might involve setting aside specific blocks of time each day or week to focus on your business.

Stay motivated: it’s important to stay focused and motivated, this might involve setting aside regular time for self-care, like exercise time or meditation, to help you stay energised and on track.

If necessary, review and adjust your plan: While working on your tasks, you may find that some tasks take longer than expected, or that you need to adjust your plan to accommodate changes in your circumstances. That’s fine, because The Three-Month Plan is a flexible tool that you can use to adapt to changing circumstances and keep making progress towards your goals.

It’s important to notice that by breaking your long-term goals down into smaller and achievable tasks, you can create a clear plan of action that will help you stay focused and motivated over the next three months, it also will help you make steady progress towards your goals, and ultimately achieve the results you want.
